Featuring eight Gigabit Ethernet ports and a Gigabit SFP fiber uplink port, the UISP 8-Port Gigabit PoE Compliant Managed Network Switch from Ubiquiti Networks is ideal for wireless ISP (WISP) deployments with MicroPoP applications. Designed to be a budget-friendly means of delivering Gigabit wireless speeds to customers, the UISP Switch provides up to 110W of power to connected radios and other devices across its eight RJ45 ports, supporting 27V passive PoE in 2- or 4-pair mode. The included adapter provides power to the switch and its PoE ports.
In addition to its Layer 2 switching features, the UISP Switch delivers smooth data transfers with an 18 Gb/s switching capacity with a 9 Gb/s non-blocking throughput and a 13.39 Mpps forwarding rate. Mount the UISP Switch onto a wall using the included kit, where the passively cooled device will operate silently in the background. This switch is managed with the Ubiquiti Internet Service Provider (UISP) application, which provides a centralized platform to monitor and manage all of your UISP-compatible devices.
