This modular connector features nickel plated phosphor bronze contacts with 50microinch gold plating. Easy to install, allows termination by hand or using a punch to block 110. This module allows connections to solid and stranded conductors with gages ranging from 23 to 26 AWG (American Wire Gage), and meets ANSI/TIA/EIA-568 C.2 broadcast standards. It has ISO/IEC 11801, IEC 60603-7-5 and UL 94-V2 certifications. The connector includes an overall metal shield that provides a conductive path to ground, which meets the requirements of IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at for Power-over-Ethernet applications (PoE).
